Beginning of the PU Zonal Youth & Heritage Festival: The Tribune India

Ludhiana PU Zone Youth and Heritage Festival, Zone – B kicked off at Ramgarhia Girls College on Saturday. The area includes 10 girls’ colleges. The five-day festival started with great zeal and enthusiasm. It will end on October 19.

The theme of the festival was “Ek Bharat Shrestha Bharat”. Dr BS Shah was the chief guest of the morning session. MLA Rajinder Pal Kaur Chinna was the chief guest of the afternoon session and MLA Kulwant Singh Sidhu was the chief guest of the evening session.

To invoke the blessings of the Almighty, students in PG’s music department recited a shabad. Dr. Rohit Kumar Sharma, Director of Department of Youth Protection, PU, ​​encouraged the participants to give their best. Many competitions were organized simultaneously on different sites. The competitions that marked the first day were those of musical elements such as shabad, bhajan, group song, classical voice, geet/gazal, folk song, literary elements like essay writing , story writing, poetry writing and handwriting, arts and crafts. such as chhikku making, pranda making, naala making, peerhi making, rassa vattna making, eennu making, khidaune mitte making and guddian patole making. In all competitions, the participants did their best and made the task of the judges of the different competitions very difficult.

Dr. Rajeshwarpal Kaur, President of Ramgarhia Educational Council Ranjodh Singh and other dignitaries were present on this occasion. On this day, the annual college magazine “Rutt Lekha” was also published.
