The IditaFAT and SnoFatShu events are fundraisers run by all-volunteer members of the Winona Forest Recreation Association (WRFA) to help maintain grooming machines and manage trails. The group’s experienced team of volunteer groomers, many of whom are heavy bikers themselves, begin preparing the fat bike and snowshoe courses in December, using a diverse arsenal of equipment to provide the best-maintained trails possible. .
