Celebrate the flavors of autumn at the Geneva Vine Festival from September 9 to 11

Savor the flavors of Geneva during the Fête de la Vigne, an autumn harvest festival.

Originally a celebration of anything that grows on a vine, the festival now revolves around food and wine. The main event runs Friday through Sunday, September 9 through September 11, at South Fourth and James Streets.

“Everything you love about this festival is in a new place,” said Laura Rush, Communications Director, Geneva Chamber of Commerce. “The Geneva Police did a phenomenal job of keeping everyone crossing State Street safe during the previous Festival of the Vines. However, it was mutually decided that the event should move to the other side of the street to James and South Fourth streets.”

The good tables of Geneva chamber musicians will be presented as well as a variety of wines for sale. There will also be beer and seltzer offerings.

For over 40 years, restaurants have settled into a huge tent offering three of their favorite signature items.

Visitors purchase tickets and purchase a “taste” at one of the tent’s featured restaurants.

To accompany your meal, unique wines from around the world will be available for purchase.

On Saturday, September 10, The PriSSillas will bring their eclectic setlist and witty sense of humor to the annual Vine Festival in downtown Geneva.
