Tuesdays on the terrace

PORTSMOUTH — Dave Gérard and Truffle will perform on Tuesday August 30 in the Tuesdays Series on the Terrace at Strawbery Banke in Portsmouth. Music is broadcast from 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Bring a picnic dinner or buy dinner and drinks at Strawbery Banke. Attendees can order a picnic on the bank in advance directly from the Puddle Dock Restaurant when purchasing tickets and pick up their order at check-in. Orders must be placed before 5 p.m. on the Sunday preceding each concert. Drinks, including beer and wine, are available during the concert. Alcoholic beverages cannot be brought onto the property. Tickets are $5 for adults, free for children under 17 and available at Strawberrybanke.org.

Presented by the Prescott Park Arts Festival, the festival will feature The Ammonium Maze, Julie Rhodes and Sister River. The Saltwater Roots Festival celebrates a burgeoning collection of original New England acts that offer a variety of music spanning the genres of rock, roots, blues, folk and more. PORTSMOUTH — In honor of Queen Bey’s birthday in September, DJ Skooch has planned a special Beyoncé party for the upcoming CLUB 3S session. The dance party will take place on Friday, September 2 from 8 p.m. to midnight. Guest DJ MAM will perform during Happy Hour starting at 8 p.m. and dancing with DJ Skooch will begin at 9 p.m. Admission is $10 for members and $12 for general admission to this 21+ party. EXETER — The Exeter Area Kiwanis Club is bringing this year’s UFO Festival back to Exeter Town Hall on September 3-4, celebrating the 57th anniversary of ‘The Incident at Exeter’. The two-day festival will feature paranormal speakers, a costume contest and a tram ride to the incident site.

The festival is free, but some of the special events, like meeting the guest speakers and the trolley ride, have an entry fee of between $5 and $20 and 100% of the proceeds will be donated to a long list of charities and programs supported by the Kiwanis club. .
