SCREAMBOX acquires Haunting Festival Favorite!

Cinedigm, Bloody Disgusting and SCREAMBOX are delighted to announce that they have purchased another horror title from the US film market, Young Min Kimit’s dramatic horror Dawnwhich celebrated a long festival leading up to the market this fall.

Yes, The Korean Chiller is yet another trauma horror movie, but it’s incredibly compelling with some really effective scares.

We will bring Dawn home of SCREAMBOX in 2023.

“Haejin Park, a trauma therapist, is forced to confront her family’s darkest past when she returns to her childhood country farmhouse to console her heartbroken younger sister.”

Dawn stars Kim Ellis, Una Kim, and Veronique Kimand performed at Panic Fest, Asian American International Film Festival, Caamfest, Asian Pacific Film Festival Los Angeles, and Heartland International Film Festival.

The deal was brokered by Brandon Hill, director of acquisitions at Cinedigm, and Michelle Lee of EST studios on behalf of the filmmakers.

The companies also acquired Vietnamese horror storyan awesome new horror anthology that broke box office records in Vietnam, outside of the US film market.
