Tickets go on sale for the Christmas Lights Trail at Bedgebury National Pinetum, near Goudhurst, from November this year
The magical light trail at Bedgebury National Pinetum, near Goudhurst, returns for another year of Christmas illuminations.
It might be a little early to start thinking about the party season, but this sold-out event has announced its dates for 2022 and you’ll need to buy tickets soon if you want to visit.
You can experience twinkling tunnels of light, colorful Christmas trees and twinkling flames as over a million twinkling lights bring the national park to life.
The annual festive trail returned last year after being canceled in 2020 due to the pandemic.
The after dark trail winds through the country park starting Friday November 18th and will continue on select dates until Monday January 2nd.
The trail features giant hanging balls, seasonal woodland sounds, and a fascinating fire garden. Children will also have the opportunity to say hello to Santa along the way.
The route is approximately 1.33 miles and should take approximately 90 minutes. Visitors will follow a circular path to see the larger-than-life illuminations, which pass the Bedgebury Café where you can stop for spicy winter, hot chocolate or roasted marshmallows.
The evening event is the perfect way to get everyone in the Christmas spirit with a spectacular visual spectacle for the whole family – even dogs are welcome!
However, you might want to grab your walking shoes, as the trail is outdoors and has uneven surfaces throughout the natural park.
The trail is also uncovered so be prepared for rain or windy weather. If bad weather poses a safety risk on a given date, the trail may be canceled, but visitors will be informed and guided through the rebooking process so you don’t miss a thing.
The Christmas trail at Bedgebury National Pinetum takes place from Friday 18th November to Monday 2nd January. Time slots are available between 4:15 p.m. and 8 p.m., but certain times are only available on certain dates.
